How to Add a Favicon to WordPress

Favicon anyway you know the little icon that appears up in your tabs in your browser.

In many website and theme that we use it doesn't have an easy way to add a favicon. So then it is more easy to do it with just the WordPress general setting. So this should work on any theme that you're running it doesn't really matter. Some themes do have a favicon option makes it quite easy but others don't so. But they'll say this should work on any theme at all as you can see.

For installing favicon we need a small image (The best 64 by 64 png or jpg).

Now go to WordPress dashboard.

Within the dashboard go into appearance and customize.

Then in here under site identity get site icon.

Select image and then upload it.

Then click Save and published.

Rload the website and we will see that the favicon is installed.
